at 6 km to the north of the city, road of Gachet, the
area of the Chantrerie benefits on more than a kilometer
of the majestic course and resting the Erdre. Created by
Noisette in 1872, the park (18 ha) has been acquired by
the city in 1972. Vast hilly lawn areas offer the
possibility to undertake long walks among trees several
times centenaries. Crimson beeches, spruces, tulips
trees, oaks and chestnuts constitute superb horticultural
subjects. Some camellias and rhododendrons are as
visible. too ide ornamental pond, a collection of bamboo
